Please, read through the FAQs and then fill out the application form.

Who can apply?

Snowboard photographers, snowboard videographers, snowboard media creators, or park shapers who are currently being financially affected by the COVID-19 outbreak by not being able to work. Those who have been and are currently working as a freelancer and contributing to the snowboard scene locally, nationally, or globally.

What are the requirements to apply?

You have been and currently are an active freelancer within the snowboard community (locally or globally). You will be asked to provide your social media handle - so we can see what you have done and also will be asked for previous work. Don’t be intimidated with this - we just want to make sure we are able to support those freelancers who need it.

What information do you need of me?

In the beginning we will just need you to provide us with the requested information on the form - this will sign you up to the fund as a participant. If you are chosen as a recipient of support from the fund than you will be ask to provide bank information for transfer or PayPal account. We may also ask for some follow up questions to verify that you are really who you say you are - as we want this support to go to those snowboard freelancers who really need it.

How can I help?

If you are accepted into the fund we ask that you send us a short video message or “creative message” explaining why you signed up for the fund and what you think about the current situation for us to use this to build awareness and support for more donations.

How are participants verified?

Through their social media accounts, e-mail, the information they provide regarding previous work (employers, projects, parks, resorts, video links, magazines they worked for, etc..) and full names.

How can I contribute to make the campaign successful?

Please share this GoFundMe campaign on your social media profiles, with friends and family. If you can afford to donate - please do so. We will also promote those who do donate on our social media profiles as a thank you (if you want us to).

How will the total donation amount be shared?

After 2 months or when we hit 60.000 Euros, we will have a drawing and we will pick recipients from all verified applicants randomly for every 2.000 Euros.

What happens if the donation goal will not be reached?

For every 2000 EURs that is reached we will donate this directly to one of the Freelancers in need.

What happens if we exceed the donation goal?

We will continue to support more freelancers with the exceeded amount. The more we receive the more snowboard freelancers from the snowboard community we can help support get through this financially tough time.

Do I have to pay taxes on the money I receive?

This is something you (it is your responsibility to research and abide) will have to research in your own country and abide by the rules and laws that your government has.

After applying you might want to spread the word.
