What was your first board?
A Burton Custom 152. It was one of the coolest graphics I have seen to this day. It had a little boy flying across the front of the moon on the base.
Where did you go snowboarding for the first time?
A little resort in Michigan called Bittersweet. 300 feet of vertical on top of an old landfill.
Your best trip so far?
My first time ever going to Mt Hood. 6 of my closest friends and I rented a minivan and drove 3 days to Mt Hood to ride summer camps. It was an amazing experience.
If somebody would pay for you to go on a trip, where would you go and with whom?
I would go to the Holy Bowly in Japan with Nick Visconti, Brent Oftedal, the entire bHappy crew, Natalie Wall, and pretty much anyone that would want to go. The more the merrier.
Who are your favorite riders to hang out with?
Who ever is on the chairlift next to me at any given time as long as they are having fun.
What do you do besides snowboarding?
Play soccer, ride my bike, listen to music and go to shows, write articles for Yobeat, nerd out on Facebook, nerd out on Instagram, travel, hang out with my girlfriend, and do marketing for The Foundry.
How many years are you up to snowboarding now?
15 amazing, body destroying years.
To whom did you look up to in snowboarding when you started?
It was the year Technical Difficulties came out so JP Walker and Jeremy Jones. Scotty Whitlake was a big influence as well.
What was your first trick?
Believe it or not, a method. Not like a good grasser, but more like a Tina. It felt awesome.
What is your favorite trick?
Back flips and front lips.
Why did you start snowboarding?
The resort I went to rented them and it seemed cooler. I taught myself over 3 days and was hooked.
How many days per year do you pass on snow?
100+ every season.
What music are you listening to when you ride?
I don’t like to get distracted so I listen to the loudest metal and hardcore I can find.

Early bird or late riser?
Depends on the previous night.
Pizza or Pasta?
Both, together. Macaroni and cheese pizza is the best.
Baggy or tight pants?
I like em tailored.
What can you tell all the kids out there why they should start snowboarding?
For me it’s like therapy. It helps you forget everything else. Most of all it’s just ridiculously fun.
